A pleasant surprise!

Overview
A northern branch of 'Waitrose-like' supermarkets - I visited the Ripon branch. There are other branches in West Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire and Greater Manchester too. In Ripon there was a spacious cafe upstairs with a lift from the supermarket on the ground floor. The staff are very friendly upstairs and downstairs and the food sold in the cafe is ideal for a snack ('afternoon tea' is also served).
Transport & Parking
I reached Booths on my scooter and therefore did not need to park. From what I could see - there are 5 disabled bays either side of the main entrance - they are part of the pay-and-display car park directly outside the main entrance. The fee is low (60p for the 1st hour, I think) and begins after 30 minutes.
Access
You are greeted with a level access and automatic entrance doors. There is a lift to the cafe upstairs. The aisles in the shop are wide and I found shopping in my scooter easy. The staff were very friendly and willing to help.I'm afraid I didn't notice if there was an induction loop installed - but it wouldn't at all surprise me if there was.
Toilets
The disabled toilet was spacious, very clean and easy to find. There was a sufficient number of grab rails, a low sink and a mirror! A Euan's Guide card now adorns the red emergency cord.
Staff
I didn't catch the names of the members of staff that helped me but they all seemed helpful and friendly. My pot of tea and snack was carried to my table, cutlery and a napkin were fetched.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would recommend this place to anyone who finds themselves in Ripon - a very pleasant Northern market town. I would definitely visit again.
