Overview
I (in wheelchair) went with my husband (able-bodied) to the 3 hour 'Infusions Experience', which included a tour of the distillery, the greenhouses, a short film, and a comparative tasting of 2 gins with a hands-on class on how to make three gin cocktails. Lots to drink and enjoy. Everywhere was wheelchair accessible. I paid for the Experience, and my husband came free as my carer. As he was driving, he was not able to try the gin. If the carer wishes to drink, I think they need to pay. There is a cafe, a bar, and a shop - all accessible
Transport & Parking
We drove. Disabled car parks right by entrance.
Access
Everywhere wheelchair accessible. Some very low ridges in doorways, but easily navigable. Lifts where necessary, and a staff member would always appear to show you where to go before you felt the need to ask. In the film room, there was at least one space for a wheelchair next to a table. A number of the doorways had push-buttons to open
Toilets
2 disable accessible toilets (one at reception) with grab rails on both sides, and sufficient room to manoeuvre and for carer. Very clean and tidy
Staff
All staff very welcoming and helpful. All seemed trained to assist disabled visitors. When one accessible toilet was occupied, staff quickly directed me to an alternative. There is a 1/2 hour break in the middle of the experience, when you can order something to eat from the cafe. I ordered a sandwich, but didn't have time to eat it as took too long in toilet. So the server kept it for me until after the experience was finished.
