Overview
Little coffee shop within Baxter Park Pavilion.
Transport & Parking
There isn’t a car park at Baxter Park so we just parked on the street just outside one of the entrances to the park. It is free to park here. I’d say Baxter Park is just outside the city centre of Dundee but busses pass from all over Dundee and Angus area. The coffee shop is quite a distance from the train station and bus station.
Access
The door to enter the coffee shop is quite wide to get through and has an automatic push button that customers can press to open the door. It is quite a small coffee shop with only a few tables to sit at, it was a lovely day when we visited so we sat outside. The tables inside are at different heights depending on if you would like to sit on the sofa or a standard chair. The tables outside were at a good height for me in my wheelchair. The till area is quite high for someone in a wheelchair, I struggled to see the cakes in the glass cabinet but, I’m sure the staff members would help you if you needed anything.
Toilets
I could not see any toilets when I visited and I did try to find them so, I cannot comment on them.
Staff
The staff member that was working when we were visiting was very friendly and helpful as he brought our orders outside to us.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
When I visited they didn’t have decaf coffee. I don’t know if this was a one-off thing or if they don’t do decaf coffee at all.
