Overview
The distillery was built in 1798, and thus has very limited accessibility. The visitors centre, bar, shop, warehouses and old filling centre are as accessible as possible in the circumstances. The staff are lovely, and like shooting the breeze
Transport & Parking
It's within electric wheelchair range of the fully accessible Pitlochry station, albeit there's a couple of difficult narrow bits of pavement
Access
There's lots of difficult bits, that make much of the distillery impossible. Steep ramps, steps, no lift No induction loop or alternative formats that I saw
Toilets
Two fully accessible toilets, one in the bar one in the shop Both Part M
Staff
Exceptionally friendly, approachable and hospitable
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The limited physical accessibility of the distillery more than made up for by the exceptionally friendly and helpful nature of the staff.
