Overview
The Blackpool Buses we used were wheelchair accessible and the drivers very friendly and helpful. We used the circular service (15 / 16) the goes around the town; very hand for the North Station, the Zoo, model village, South Beach and the centre of town.
Transport & Parking
The buses were wheelchair accessible for me as a powerchair user. The driver operated the ramp and in some places this was not required as the kerbs had been raised to be level with the bus entrance. We used a ticket purchased in advance that allowed 7 days (you can get 3 days) unlimited travel on the buses and trams. More information is on the Blackpool Transport website.
Access
We were able to get the information we wanted from the website prior to visiting. We ordered tickets by post. Once in town the service was very accessible for us and easy use as a powerchair user.

Staff
Everyone we met on the bus journeys was helpful and friendly.

Great way to travel around the town if you're not familiar with it as people were so helpful and friendly.
