Overview

This place has just undergone a big renovation and is looking ace! We visited on a busy Thursday night and really enjoyed the buzzing atmosphere, drinks menu and the bar food menu.

Transport & Parking

There are some good public transport links nearby as Black Ivy is just off Bruntsfield Place where there are many bus stops. Parking can be quite busy depending on the time of day and not sure if there are any dedicated blue badge spaces nearby.

Access

We visited the bar and it was great! Level access in from the street. Combination of different seating options so these can be rearranged as needed. There were dog bowls right at the door. Outside there are 'fire pits' that will be brilliant in summer but look a bit tricker to access if you are a wheelchair user due to the concrete structures but all the 'gates' are open that won't be an issue...

Toilets

Very smart accessible loo! If the bar is busy it is a little trickier to get to with how some of the seating is arranged but this is just a small thing.

Definitely a good place to visit, good addition to Bruntsfield area! Will definitely be going back.
