Overview
This is my favourite pub in Edinburgh. I used to visit it a lot more frequently when I worked in Edinburgh, but now when visiting the city I always try to pop in if I can. It is a great pub if you are into rock and metal music and is usually a frequent hang out spot for before and after metal gigs taking place in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. The entrance to the pub is however on a stoned staircase so I’m not sure if they have a portable ramp to make it wheelchair accessible.
Transport & Parking
The Black Bull is on Leith Street so within short walking distance of Waverley Station and local bus routes.
Access
It’s spacious inside and the bar staff are great at offering assistance. However the entrance is on a stoned staircase and I am unsure if they have a portable ramp for it to be wheelchair accessible.
Toilets
Not specifically an accessible toilet but the toilets are all on one level and spacious.
Staff
The staff are super friendly and great at offering assistance with either drink orders or even offering to assist with picking music from the jukebox.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Probably my favourite pub to go to in Edinburgh. They are very reasonably priced and have a great selection of beers, scotch whisky and over 50 different American bourbons to choose from as well.
