Overview
Bicester hotel is a must visit, it is wheelchair friendly and an attractive hotel, and the health club and Spa follow suit, again wheelchair friendly, so worth the effort to go there if you need a little pampering now and again. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, and well looked after. You have a 20m heated indoor pool, treatment rooms, and the latest matrix 7 equipment in its gym, and they will look after you all the way. OUR FINAL THOUGHTS. We found the staff very helpful and willing, they will we know take care of you, and it just looks nice as you look around, the small garden area where you can sit and unwind is a delightful spot, the pool is lovely, and it all adds to the pleasure of a visit to this hotel and complex. The golf course is well maintained, and we loved the idea of their crèche for young children, with indoor facilities, and on dry days, the outdoor play area is ideal, the kids will love it here.
Transport & Parking
Parking is easy, you have four disabled bays very close to the hotel entrance, a short ride from car to entry, but it’s a delightful ride past honey coloured Cotswold stone buildings and a lovely courtyard.
Access
It’s all on the level for you, although the garden courtyard, ( as seen on photos, ) does have a step to get down, my knows, he failed to see it, and badly hurt himself when tripping, so watch for these steps, but everywhere else was easy enough. Everything you need to see is on the ground floor, so we do not know if there is a lift or not. You have plenty of seating areas throughout, and we feel the hotel has done as much as possible to help disabled have a great visit, or overnight stay.
Toilets
We did not see disabled toilets, but public toilets where very clean and maintained well, a bit small, so wheelchair was left outside the door.
Staff
Very friendly and helpful, willing to support us.
