Overview

I've written reviews for the BFI before, so this is a quick one, just to let you know that they have replaced the accessible toilet next to NFT1 screen.

Transport & Parking

The nearest railway and tube station is Waterloo. However, not all tube lines are step free. I travelled by bus southbound to Waterloo Bridge and then walked down the slope and the BFI was directly in front of me.

Access

5

The BFI is entirely step free. This review is about the new accessible toilet by NFT 1. The easiest way to get to NFT1 is from the step free River Thames entrance.

Toilets

The new, replacement accessible toilet is in the same location as the previous one, next to NFT1. It's brand spanking new and looks pristine. It was clean and tidy. There is a push button to open the door, just be aware it takes a couple of moments to close. There are plenty of grab rails and the emergency cord reaches towards the ground. Thank you BFI for installing this, its looks fabulous, accessible and safe.

Staff

Staff were welcoming and helpful as always.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I love the BFI, I am a member and always have a great experience watching the film, their helpful staff and commitment to accessibility makes it one of the regular places I visit. Thanks too to the BFI for showing Bagpuss and other children's TV programmes on the big screen, loved the cosy dose of nostalgia.
