Overview

There is a large car park with several blue badge bays. Inside the entrance there is a toilet block with an accessible toilet. The surface is quite thick gravel which is hard work for a wheelchair or scooter. Those with a crutch or a stick would need to take great care. The cafe, garden centre and shop are all accessible with paving. There is a long ramp down to the garden which is grass and very well maintained. It was a lovely visit and for those with an interest in gardening and gardeners.

Transport & Parking

Access

It was level from the car park to the entrance and the toilet but the gravel was not the easiest surface to navigate. I used a small scooter. There is a small information centre and there was a slight lip to the door. There is a side entrance which is roped off but they were happy to open this for me to enter.
