Overview
Wheelchair access(?) is via the bar, along a 50m gravel path, and a locked door with a rickety ramp with a small step at the top. The toilet they said is accessible is out via that rickety ramp and gravel path - and if you're unlucky you have to move all the people sitting in front of it. You then have to go through the car park, down the road and then a path. The toilet had no accessible features at all and I could only just get my chair in and turn to shut the door. According to the barman, they regularly carry people in their chairs up a flight of 18 stairs, not something I would let them do. When I was being served at the bar 2 people came up and interrupted me while I was ordering - and the staff dealt with them first. I felt like I came in through the servants' entrance and then was totally ignored as well. Afternoon tea was average. I won't be going again.
Transport & Parking
No specific disabled parking and one suitable space was reserved so not available.
Access
No lift, access had to be arranged because the door was locked. Long trip up gravel path to gain entry.
Toilets
Steps to so-called accessible toilet - or a long trip to another step free toilet with no accessible features and no handrails.
Staff
Lack of knowledge about accessibility. Pushed me in the wheelchair despite being asked not to. Ignored me while I was ordering.
