Overview
I had a lovely afternoon at this location. I use an electric wheelchair. The ride on train was not accessible as you have to sit astride the carriages. The grounds are lovely with lots of different things to see. However, there are lots of very steep short gradients which might make it unsuitable for some powerchairs. I got stuck on one corner due to the steepness. Also so paths were narrow so a bigger powerchair might not get through. But apart from this, it was lovely!
Transport & Parking
We came by car and had to park in a church car park across the road. There is no oarking on site.
Access
The site was mostly accessible and well sign posted. There was a viewing gallery that was inaccessible. I managed to see everything. Steep bridges were rather nerve wracking though. They tested my powerchair to the limit! There was seating in the middle of the site.
Toilets
There were 2 standard accessible toilets, non RADAR. No changing places facility though.
Staff
The staff were lovely
