Overview

On staying at the premier Inn next door to the Beefeater Packet Steamer, it made sense to eat there.

Four bays right outside the door

Access

Good, flat entrance but even for able bodied, the two doors were heavy to open. With five in the group, including myself using a walker and a wheelchair user, we were quickly allocated a table close to the door and on the same level.

Did not have the need to use but I did see the door

Staff

Extremely helpful and all with a great sense of humour. I can’t say how tremendous the waitress who looked after us was. Dare one say, she a great Liverpool sense of humour and laughed with me at me asking for vegetables being left of. When my meal was delivered it came with coleslaw on it, leading to light hearted debate as to whether or not coleslaw was deemed to be vegetables or not. Anyway, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the drinks we had with it. Like the Premier Inn, all staff we encountered in the Beefeater Packet Steamer was indeed a credit to the place.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Likewise at breakfast the next morning, the five of us were shown to the same table. Although the continental section was self service, assistance was offered. Those of us opting for the cooked breakfast did not have long to wait on delivery of freshly cooked produce from an extensive menu. With copious amounts of juice and coffee along with the afore mentioned breakfast, it was a great way to start the day.
