Overview

A lovely day out to see all sorts of motor vehicles, I just wished there was more access to the refreshment kiosks and automatic doors.

Transport & Parking

Dedicated disabled parking available close to the entrance with an another overflow disabled car park across from it.

Access

The main entrance is step free and flat throughout but I found I had trouble trying to go around the queuing barriers they had as they made it too narrow even for my small mobility scooter to go around the Barriers.

Toilets

The toilets were adequately fitted with all the necessary handles and pull cord but the hand drier is one that you had to bend your hands down and put them into the drier and was difficult to use if you have trouble bending your wrists and hands. Also the doors into the toilets were difficult to use by yourself as they are big glass ones and they are not automatic.

Staff

I didn’t have much interaction with any members of staff other than one who pointed me to the raffle desk.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I did struggle to read the information boards behind the cars in the on screen area of Beaulieu they were either behind a car slightly or the letters were too small so some people might struggle as I did. I found all the doors were not automatic so anyone might struggle to open them if they visited on their own I found that consistent throughout the attraction but plenty of visitors were extremely helpful when they saw me approaching the doors and either opened them or kept them open. The refreshment kiosk I saw had a step so I was unable to get into that one plus if you are visiting with a dog you will find you have to leave them in the dog area underneath the main attraction but it has steps leading down to the dog area so that would be impossible to get down there if you can’t like me do stairs.
