Overview
there are a wide selection of areas to look around over a large area with buses and trams to take you around the site. however the queues are often quite long and the accessible buses run much less frequently. there is quite a lot to see however the upstairs areas are not very accessible especially within the town. The staff are accommodating and there is information available at reception if needed.
Transport & Parking
there is good parking and is close to the main reception, there are also frequent buses that bring you next to the reception building. although the stairs are quite steep there is a ramp available to get into reception.
Access
there was accessible access to some buildings however not to go upstairs in the buildings and the steps were uneven and slightly slippery. the streets were quite uneven and in areas narrow. it can be quite a long walk to go from area to area. however cafes and shops offered good access,
Toilets
clean disabled toilets in almost every area. they had hand rails and it was easy to unlock the doors with staffs help if needed.
Staff
helpful staff especially as we had a group of children with a range of conditions.
