Overview

A great visit! It was lovely to be on the beach again and able to stick my hands in the sea and walk in the surf. The experience was so easy and stress free. Oh and it’s FREE!(donations accepted) It’s a fantastic concept which makes life-long and special memory. I really recommend anyone visiting North Berwick to enjoy a walk on the beach.

Transport & Parking

The website has detailed instructions on how to find the beach hut and parking bays. There are two disabled parking bays right beside the beach hut.

Access

The have a hoist for those who need that support to transfer chairs. It’s all wheelchair accessible , no steps.

Toilets

There is an accessible toilet in the seas it’d Centre, you just need to go around to the front of the centre to access the wheelchair accessible entrance- very easy.

Staff

It is delivered by volunteers. They are all lovely, treat you with great dignity , talking through options and let you lead what chair is best for you.
