Overview
Local bakery in Dundee city centre.
Transport & Parking
There isn’t a specific car park for this venue but due to it being located in the city centre there are lots of car parks nearby, especially council car parks where blue badge holders can park for free. There are bus stops nearby that have buses coming from all over Dundee and parts of Angus, there is also Dundee train station about 10 minutes away.
Access
There is a slight ramped entrance into this venue however, from lots of experience I can’t imagine any wheelchair users having issues with it. Inside it is very spacious and you queued up t one side of the venue to buy your food and the other side was free to leave easily. The tills in this venue are quite high so some people might find it hard to pay (I was with my carer) but they are high so you can easily see what food is available. At the side of the venue there is a table facing the wall with about 4 chairs at it which is really good if you want a quick bite to eat. I also noticed there were plug sockets and USB ports at the table which is handy if you need to charge your phone or even your powerchair.
Toilets
I didn’t see a sign for any toilets at this venue.
Staff
All staff seemed really friendly and when I was sitting my lunch they sounded really helpful with different requests that customers had.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I didn’t notice any Covid-19 precautions in place but I felt safe when visiting.
