Overview

Very easy access for me as a powerchair user. Automatic door, level access and lift to upper floor.

Transport & Parking

You can park in the disabled bays in the nearby West register Street. There are bus stops outside the door and it's a short distance from Waverley Station (rail).

Access

Access was really good and there were staff on hand to help. There are lowered machines to use for banking and staff will help. Some great services like the ATM that you can plug your headphones in if you can't see the screens and want it to speak to you!

Toilets

I don’t know whether or not there was an accessible toilet.

Staff

The staff were very helpful and happy to explain all the services that are available for disabled customers.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

One important observation - my visually impaired friend did not have a similar experience. They entered the branch and found it very difficult to find where to head for as there wasn't a focal point. He was unable to tell if the people mingling by the door were customers, security staff or actual bank personal. This comment has been made to me a couple of times by visually impaired friends. It would be great if there were some sort of pedestal or small desk that was clearly and obviously an information point for people to head for rather than launching into the cavernous foyer without a focus.
