Overview

A 4 star hotel & spa, not far from both Hastings & Battle & is ideally situated for exploring 1066 Country. Although with some shortcomings, this is a disabled friendly hotel, and has two adapted bedrooms for disabled guests. My review only looks at the hotel as I did not visit the spa, which is located adjacent to the main hotel.

Transport & Parking

There are two disabled parking bays, however there is also plenty of parking close to the entrance. The hotel is not near either a railway station or bus route.

Access

Although access to the main entrance is by four steps, there is also wheelchair access next to the disabled parking bays. Apart from two steps to access the restaurant, the hotel is easy to get around. The well maintained gardens are easily accessible but has gravel paths, which may be a problem for wheelchairs. There is a lift with adequate space for a wheelchair.

Toilets

There is an accessible toilet adjacent to the restaurant.

Staff

Staff were very friendly & helpful.
