Overview
Bank Street Gardens are in the centre of Galashiels, occupying one side of a shopping street. The gardens are attractive with colourful flowerbeds and lawns. It is a peaceful place to take a break or have a sandwich.
Transport & Parking
Public transport accesses is impressive. It is a short, level walk through the town centre from the Galashiels Transport Interchange, a new bus station with Changing Places toilet adjacent to Galashiels Railway Station. Several buses stop at the Interchange and there are regular trains to Edinburgh from the station.
Access
There is step free access and bench seating with back support and arms.
Toilets
There are no toilets, but a couple of minutes walk away is the Galashiels Interchange which has accessible toilets and a Changing Places toilet.
Staff
Didn't see any but the gardens are beautifully maintained.
