Wheelchair accessible, friendly staff

Parked close to entrance, asked parking attendent who was happy to direct us after checking we had a parking permit.

Access

There was a ramp up to the entrance avoiding the steps. Each gondola takes 4 people, probably 3 with the chair. The gondolas stop to allow you on and off. The staff quickly brought a ramp over to allow me to be wheeled on. Didn't rush us. As soon as we arrived at the end they were ready with the ramp. Ramps and lifts were in the building at the top. Able to access the roof and observation deck but not able to get further due to the steps.

Toilets

The toilet was clearly signposted, it was through the shop, normal loos were down steps. Large room, would be big enough to accommodate a carer if needed. Didn't notice if there were loos at the top.

Staff

Obviously they are used to wheelchair customers as they took it all in their stride, they were all friendly and helpful.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Recommend prebooking as it gets really busy, seems better earlier or later in the day, car park gets busy though there is a free bus from the town though don't know how accessible it is. Really worth the 8min ride up the mountain for the fantastic views.
