Overview

A wheelchair accessible restaurant with accessible toilet. The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. Made my significant birthday very special and a day to remember!

Transport & Parking

I came by train and the hotel is right beside Waverley train station and on the start of Princes Street. Don't know about the parking.

Access

The was a concrete ramp at the front of the building and a caterpillar track type ramp to the Palm Court Restaurant and another ramp of the same kind to the accessible toilet. The nature of the steps meant that the ramps were quite steep but staff were willing to assist if required. Not sure about braille or loop but staff were extremely helpful.

Toilets

The accessible toilet was easy to find - beside the other toilets. The toilet had suitable grab rails and a range of bins.

Staff

All were. Beforehand I was in email correspondence with them and nothing was too much trouble, e.g. altering menus to suit the party.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

It's quite expensive but excellent quality and perfect for a special occasion as I couldn't fault with anything. I'd certainly pay a return visit.
