Overview
Getting near lunchtime the challenge was to find somewhere to get a bite for eat for lunch. Auld Jock's was a candidate for the simple reason it was one of the few wheelchair accessible eateries in the Grassmarket.
Transport & Parking
There's on street parking in and around the Grassmarket. If you have a Blue Badge you will find it easier to get a spot.
Access
A welcoming approach with a nice wide door that has been adapted to allow for barrier free access. You can simply roll in the door and right up to the counter. There are plenty of table and chairs outside if you want to sit and watch the world go by as you eat.
Toilets
Although there are no accessible toilets in the shop there is a good public toilet (one of the automated types) a hundred metres or so in the Grassmarket pedestrian area.
Staff
Helpful staff.
