Fringe review
Visit date:
Overview
Access to building was easy enough but we couldn't see any sign of a lift. There must be one but it isn't obvious where it is. There are a few flights of stairs to access the lecture theatre, where the show we saw (Milton Jones and the Temple of daft) was performed.
Transport & Parking
We parked at Hermiston Gait retail park and used the tram to get into the city centre. The tram was very accessible and we saw a few wheelchair users accessing it while we were on it. During the fringe parking would be much more difficult than usual. There is car parking nearby although it is expensive (unsure if companies such as NCP, accept blue badge users for free)
Access
provisions for access should be highlighted better.
Toilets
We did not use the toilets but noticed there was a bathroom with disabled access (upstairs)
Staff
Staff were readily available to assist customers. We did not require any assistance but there was a great staff presence throughout the performance and during access/exit of the venue.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We waited for 20 mins before being allowed in the building. Those struggling to stand for periods of time may find this difficult.
