Overview
I have visited the Asda store in Watford on numerous occasions now, It has parking at the front and back of the store, it has disabled blue badge parking bays at the front and back of the store, At the back of the store it has multi storey parking, which has a lift down to store level which is on ground level, Wide aisles as well with plenty of room, This Asda store is a hypermarket which not only has food but also electricals and clothes for men women and children, it has diy items and car care items, The accessable/disabled toilet is a national radar key scheme toilet, Plenty of room inside, The only down side of this toilet is the Red cord isn't there, but has been replaced with a bathroom ceiling light pull cord which they have coloured partly red and isn't the normal length of a bathroom ceiling light pull cord either, I have tried on numerous occasions to get Asda to sort this out by emailing head office and was told that they had informed the store and it would be sorted out, and they hoped I'd have a better visit next time, a month later and the proper Red cord hasn't been put in place, So would not use the disabled toilet unless you have someone with you either outside the toilet or inside with you.
Transport & Parking
I got to this Asda store on my mobility scooter, There's plenty of parking bays and plenty of disabled parking bays at the front end back of the store,
Access
Toilets
They have an accessible toilet there, Plenty of space inside to manoeuvre, They have grab rails, There's definitely room for a carer or two, The red cord is missing and replaced with a short bathroom ceiling light pull cord that is partly coloured Red, so make sure if you use it to have someone nearby or inside with you in case of getting into difficulties.
