Overview
Large supermarket with everything under one roof. 20+ specific wide bays for the disabled - but these are not always monitored. One disabled toilet that is located in the middle front of the store near other loo's.
Transport & Parking
20+ specific wide bays for the disabled - but these are not always monitored. The bays are well marked out and there are a good number here, however it can get very busy and you can end up missing out.
Access
Easy access to the store, however, there are times when there is so much promotional products outside that people end up tripping over you in your wheelchair.
Toilets
One disabled toilet that is located in the middle front of the store near other loo's. The main issue is that this also has a baby changing mat in it! So you are forced to wait for the long process of a mother and child(ren) to finish. This is very unfair. The location of the toilet (next to the cleaners cupboard) also means that more often than not the area outside the toilets (the physical space) is often very cluttered with the cleaners trolley. Manoeuvring can be rather difficult and this oversight (whilst easy to fix) is pointless! The cleaners cupboard should be moved.
Staff
As with all supermarkets you get some very professional staff and some grumpy butts!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Overall a good place to shop whether in a scooter, wheelchair or otherwise.
