Overview

Argos Extra is one of many units in the retail park, The area is level and the pavement area along the front of all the units is covered paving slabs some of these are raised in areas as you walk along the units. Some of the other units do have advertisements on display outside there own stores. The Argos Extra unit as double automatic doors there are items on display around the store however as the store is large this is not a problem. Like All Argos style stores there is an order area and separate collection point. As this is a large unit this is a good distance away but again is level and no obstacles in the road.

Transport & Parking

There are 3 Blue badge spaces to the right hand side on the Argos Extra door. Please not there are 2 normal parking spaces before them. It should also be noted that there are other Blue badge Parking in the retail park at other units. So you might not get to park near to the store.

Access

The main area of the store is wide and very open there items on display and while it was okay to move around them these displays will of course change so this could effect any access in these areas. The main passage way is something that looked like it would always be clear. There was one lowered catalogue platform with a wheelchair symbol on it this was of a great height to let people in wheelchairs view the ordering catalogue. The order point does have a queuing system that does mean the line has to turn but there was space to move.

Staff

The staff are very helpful and were making sure people did not wait to long for the item they had ordered. The staff are happy to assistance people with heavy items out to their car if you wish them to and are pleased to help people out

Anything else you wish to tell us?

There are a number of seats at the collection point these have no arm rests on them and can move easily. Like all Argos Extra or Argos stores there are times when it will be very busy such as Christmas this could mean changes to the layout of Item being displayed in the store as well as increased waiting times for your order to be ready.
