Overview

The ARC is an arts centre and includes a cinema, theatre and a cafe. It is wheelchair accessible from street level with a lift to all floors. Has performances that are wheelchair accessible and friendly staff.

Transport & Parking

There is a car park opposite which has disabled parking, there are also parking bays in the street outside the main entrance. The town centre where all local bus routes serve is close by.

Access

The main entrance is accessible from street level with no steps and automatic doors, there is a sign with what is on every floor. The reception is low and accessible to a wheelchair user and has a hearing loop. There is lift access to every floor and accessible toilets on every floor. The theatre has wheelchair accessible seating areas and also offers performances that have British Sign Language interpretation. The cinema also has wheelchair accessible seating and has audio description and subtitled screenings.

Toilets

There are accessible toilets on every floor and are easy to find with the signage. The toilet was clean and large with enough space to manoeuvre a wheelchair and had rails and a help button.
