Accessible Performances

ARC offers relaxed performances of selected shows for children with autism and additional requirements, in association with Daisy Chain. We use a lower volume level and keep lighting consistent throughout the performance, and don’t play music in our foyers. You’ll be able to bring your own food and our staff won’t ask to see your tickets until you’ve found your seats. We are happy to provide extra seats for your comfort and if you’d prefer not to queue just let us know. There is also a relaxed attitude towards noise and moving around the auditorium.

Toilets

Adapted toilets are available on each floor of the building and there is lift access to each floor.

Staff

ARC deliver Cultural Shift in partnership with Little Cog, a comprehensive three year programme of dynamic arts activity involving disabled people at every level. The project will build on the strategic partnership between ARC Stockton, a significant cultural venue in the North East of England and Little Cog, a disability led arts organisation based in the Tees Valley, and the research we, and our partners, have undertaken over the last three years.
