Overview

The hallway was too narrow and oddly shaped so hubby had to take my chair back to the car in pouring rain and I had to struggle to get to our room. There is no parking at the guesthouse but there is a public car park a short wheel away but it costs £1 an hour so made it an expensive night The place is dirty and badly in need of lots of tlc. Our room had huge cracks in the walls and along the ceiling which were held together with tape. The furnishings looked like they'd come from a charity shop as they were grubby and old fashioned. The white wardrobe was yellowed and smelled. Both chairs were wobbly and creaky and we were amazed the bed didn't collapse under us. The guest house was very noisy with doors banging until all hours and unending noise from the road at the front.
