Overview

Situated on Princes Street the Apple Store is easy to find, well laid out once you're in, and has great staff.

Transport & Parking

Great spot if you are arriving on public transport. If you are coming by bus, as I did, there are stops within a few metres for most directions. It's also directly opposite the Waverley Steps entrance to the railway station.

Access

Access was good. It was easy to locate the store, find the door, and get in and around. The doors and circulation space are good for a visually impaired person; as they are for my friend who is a wheelchair user. There are stairs to go up to the first floor and there's a lift tucked away in the corner. The store is light, bright and spacious.

Toilets

There are toilets. These were clean and very spacious. I didn't notice an accessible one but given that everything else was great for access I guess there probably is one. I'll check the next time I go in and report back!

Staff

Staff were great. I had booked a one to one session on accessibility on a Mac. I was impressed with the attention to detail to make my experience worthwhile.

The store seems to have worked hard to make the "Apple Experience" open to everyone.
