Overview
Booked to see a play with my daughter. Seating for disabled and one assistant is available and afford excellent views with step-free accessibility. I am not a wheelchair user but I think they can remove seats to accommodate users. To book these seats you need to email/telephone the box office direct. The box office staff were very helpful. Theatre ingress/egress is via a small, slightly quaint but perfectly functional lift. There is a disabled toilet available, it's snug but does the job. I did not use the bar, but my daughter tells me it was inaccessible to disabled people. I understand staff will fetch refreshment if required. The staff inside the theatre were super-helpful. This is a theatre built in Edwardian times so has its structural restrictions but a great deal of effort has gone into making it accessible for all.
