Overview
Anglesey Model Village is a nice couple of hours out. Walking around the model village doesn’t take long. It is small but worth a stroll. We did a quiz to keep us entertained on the model village which was fun. We had coffee and cake in the cafe garden afterwards. Plenty seating options and garden games on offer.
Transport & Parking
There are 3 dedicated disabled bays at the entrance.
Access
The model village is completely accessible. The only potential difficulty is that there is about 15 metres of gravel between the car parking bay and entrance. We managed no problem pushing the manual wheelchair but may be more difficult for others depending on the weight of the person. I’m sure there would be no problem reversing up to the entrance to drop off but we didn’t need to.
Toilets
Accessible toilet is good. Again some gravel around but we managed fine.
Staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. There was a bit of confusion on whether carers or companions were able to enter free but we were offered a discount.
