Overview

The Museum or Liverpool FC story is in the Kop stand and is close to Boot Room Sports Bar. This is a must visit for any fan of Liverpool FC and takes you on a journey from the club being formed until now. There a large number of items on display all of which are in display cases with notices that explain what each and every item is or why it is relevant to Liverpool FC. The story covers the high and low points of the club over the years and is done in away that is very sympathetic and thoughtfully is certainly something any Liverpool fan will enjoy. You also get to see a lot of Silverware including those 6 European Cups that Liverpool have won displayed together in a large case.

Transport & Parking

There is a Taxi Rank at the gates and a Taxi fare from the Albert Docks area to the ground is around £7.00. There is some parking available in the Streets around the ground on non match days However on match days there are restrictions on both the Taxi rank and on street parking so many hours before kick off. The club website gives details on this and is something that changes due to games being rescheduled for television etc. There is also a special bus that runs from the city centre Albert Docks area to the ground and again you will find details on this on the club web site. Did not actually see the bus which is a double decker to know if wheelchairs can access the lower deck.

Access

You enter via a good wide doorway in the kop stand and then go to your right which is an automatic door to the lift. You can only go up 1 level as you exit the lift the Liverpool FC Story is of to your left at the top of the stairs . As you enter there is a desk to pay for your tickets etc and you will also be given a photo opportunity ( You can not use your own camera for this however you are welcome to take photos in all other areas . Most of the display stands are at a reasonable level and while the lighting changes in some parts it is always good. There is enough room to wheelchairs with only a few small parts where the passageway turns etc to suit display stands however for the most people will be able to get past your wheelchair with out and problems .

Toilets

There is one accessible toilet is located near to the lift area and was of reasonable size had good lighting and was also very clean as well

Staff

All of the staff we meet very helpful and will do there best to help you enjoy your visit We meet staff in the museum and outside of the stadium who were all first class and proud to be part of the Liverpool FC Story

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Like many different venues this is something that can get busy when the schools are on holiday etc. However it is well worth checking out the club website before you visit if you don't like it being busy as it gives this type off information as well as allowing you to pre book your visit this is for a certain day not time. The times the Liverpool FC Story is open can also be checked on the club website
