Overview
Admission in to Alan Waters is free, they have a large car park with three disabled spaces which cost £1 to park alday. There are various walking trails which are recorded on their website, there are wooden posts around the country park with directions for you to follow your chosen route. The paths are tarmacked and are suitable for prams and mobility aids, although there is one trail which has a steep gradient but has a wooden handrail to provide support. The country park is dog friendly. There are also two parks for children to play in and a few picnic tables located around the park and café. There is a lovely café which allows well behaved dogs inside, the food is very nice. The toileting facilities consist of a ladies and gents toilet, both have three toilets inside and one disabled toilet. Level access into the café and toilet facilities. I have visited this located with my two children and my mum. I have found it a lovely place to go with a pram and my mum used her mobility scooter. The scenery is very beautiful.
