Overview

Loved this cathedral. A cool place to contemplate amid the bustle of Madrid. The altar is amazing and the stained glass windows are out of this world!

Transport & Parking

We happened across the entrance when visiting somewhere nearby - so unsure of public transport links. It's near to the Palace so imagine will have good transport links.

Access

Very good! There was a long permanent ramp to get up to the entrance level. The entrance itself is ramped and was signposted. Inside the cathedral most of it is step free. You can go up and down the aisles easily and wonder at the roof and the windows. The one bit that you can't get to is the altar but you can get close to it and get a good idea of the size and grandeur even if you can't get up close & personal!

Toilets

Didn't notice whether there were any loos at all.

Staff

Staff that we saw were smiling. We didn't need any particular help.
