Overview
We were using this pool while our regular one at Drumbrae is being refurbished, maybe I've been spoiled but I didn't like this one as much (the disabled changing room is very cramped, it is a bit of a rabbit warren, the hoist is in an inappropriate place) but I have heard good reports of the cafeteria.
Transport & Parking
Very good - large car park (with disabled spaces). Good too for public transport although as the venue is not on the main road, a walk would be incurred.
Access
Not brilliant. Access is good but finding the way to the changing area & the pool isn't easy (especially if you are unaccompanied) However, there is level access throughout - bar the odd lope.
Toilets
Again, perfectly adequate but difficult to find.
Staff
Lifeguards are excellent - because it is a large pool, there are several on duty which inspires confidence, and they all know their stuff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I suppose it depends what you want but personally I prefer Drumbrae.
