Transport & Parking

There are a few parking spaces designated to Absolute Dogs right outside the shop. They aren’t sign posted as accessible parking however, they aren’t marked with any lines at all. Whenever I have visited there has always been plenty of room beside my car. One of the parking spaces is right outside the entrance to Absolute Dogs which could be difficult however, there has always been space between cars and the entrance when I’ve visited. Due to being located in the city centre of Dundee there are bus stops coming from all over Dundee, I’m not sure what ones or where these are.

Access

The door to enter Absolute Dogs has to be opened manually. This can be quite difficult to do when my helper is trying to hold the door open for me, holding my dogs lead and he’s trying to pull out of the building because he doesn’t want to get his hair cut. It might be easier to have an automatic access pad to press in order to open the door. Inside it is very spacious, customers only really visit the payment desk and there is a sofa for you to wait.

Toilets

I have not seen any signage for toilets any time that I have visited and have not needed to ask about them due to only dropping or picking my dog up. Therefore, I cannot comment on the toilets here.

Staff

Every time I have phoned to book my dogs grooming appointment or dropped him off and picked him up the staff have always been very welcoming and friendly. There’s a girl that has worked at Absolute Dogs for at least the las 4 years who is really nice and knows exactly who I am and who my dog is, unfortunately I can’t remember her name.

Dog walking services are available for customers in Dundee, Broughty Ferry and Monifieth for groups of dogs and individually dog. Absolute Dogs are also able to pick up and drop off dogs if you are unable to do this yourself.
