Overview

Abergavenny market hosts many important community events foremost of which is the Abergavenny Food Festival. There is no obstacle (that we could see) to people with mobility impairments being able to enjoy all events to the same extent as everyone else.

Transport & Parking

There is adequate disabled parking spaces in the Council car parks which are withing easy distance of the market. All routes to the market have dropped kerbs.

Access

The entrance to the market is at street level so there is no issue in gaining access. The aisles are plenty wide enough for mobility scooters and wheelchairs leaving plenty of room for everyone else too.

Toilets

We did not use the toilets so unfortunately cannot comment although the Food Festival website states that there are accesible toilets on site.

Staff

Stall holders were friendly and helpful.
