Overview
We had a fantastic day out at Abbotsford. Our group consisted of one person with heart problems, one with a rollator and another with a mobility scooter. We spent the morning visiting the house, then had lunch in the excellent restaurant, and then spent time in the shop and outside in the gardens.
Transport & Parking
We found disabled parking spots quite easily, and as we were there early, they hadn't filled up.
Access
The house itself was accessible for all 3 of us, and completely accessible by a small mobility scooter. The shop was great and had lots of lovely goodies. There was a lift from the ground floor to the restaurant, and apart from another disabled person trying to jump the queue, our lunch was a pleasant experience. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were very efficient, and our food was lovely.

Staff
The staff were great, from the people in the house to the people in the gift shop and the people working in the restaurant. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
