Overview
There is a large car park with several blue badge spaces overlooking the reservoir. There is level access into the visitor centre with a large accessible toilet to the left of the main door. It i s free to enter but they suggest a donation of £2. There is a small shop area and a cafe near the entrance. There is a very small outside seating area for cafe users but it is too small for a scooter or wheelchair. There are several paths around the reservoir of varying lengths. The surfaces are gravel or stony which would be difficult for a wheelchair. They do have a wheelchair available and a scooter. I used the scooter which was an old pavement scooter which had not been maintained well and was NOT up to the job. They need to upgrade it and I have contacted them about this. However, it was a lovely place to visit to see water and birds and I would go back there although would not use that scooter again.

Staff
The first time I went there was a female volunteer who told me they had a scooter. When i went back there was a very uncommunicative male volunteer at the front desk who was not welcoming. The cafe staff were very helpful,
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Even if you did not go into the visitors centre on a nice day it would be a nice view from the blue badge bay.
