Great experience at A Sailor's Grave
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Powerchair
Overview
I got a small tattoo here last July and felt very comfortable through booking, during the tattoo, when discussing aftercare etc. I was able to stay in my wheelchair during the tattoo and the staff could not be more helpful.
Transport & Parking
I came on wheels so unsure about public transport and parking in this area of Belfast. It is near the Castle Court Shopping Centre and in the Cathedral Quarter.
Access
There are two large doors to open and a small lip to get over. It took me a couple tries to get my wheelchair over the bump straight on. Staff will open the door for you but do mind the bump! There is a seating area to wait at, and the front desk is low down which I thought was great. The tattooing area is behind the front desk which was quite quiet when I went.
Toilets
Did not see any facilities. There are facilities at the nearby shopping centre.
Staff
Very helpful at making sure I was comfortable.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I was tattooed by Caila who was great at making me feel at ease and ensuring I understood how to look after the tattoo when I went home. Before any tattoo you must fill out a health form and bring ID!
