Overview
Was pleasantly surprised at how accessible this church was - as they are not always the easiest places to access!
Transport & Parking
The church has its own car park with 3 accessible bays right by the door (a lot of spaces as it is a fairly small car park) car park is flat and smooth surface Close to a bus route - couple of minutes away
Access
Pretty good, we had no issues. Very slight lip on main door but it is wide and there were people there who couldn't have done more to help: showing us in, opening internal doors etc. The seats are not fixed to the floor and they moved some do we could sit where we wanted to. Room is large and fairly easy to find somewhere where you can see. If you are near the back it's not as loud. Words to songs are on screens that are quite high up, but fairly readable font. Not sure if there is a hearing aid loop. All the main activities are downstairs and so is the crèche. Unfortunately the children's activities are upstairs and there is no lift - but they said they are hoping to get one in the future.
Toilets
New, clean accessible toilet. Fairly big and usual rails etc, but not a full changing places toilet. Red emergency cord.
Staff
Main reason this church is accessible is because of the people there. We have had issues with other churches in the past, but everyone here was incredibly welcoming when we visited.
