Euan’s Guide venues shortlisted in The Scottish Thistle Awards
The Scottish Thistle Awards were back last night with a fabulous awards ceremony, and we’re delighted that some of our venues were shortlisted in the finals!
The Scottish Thistle Awards are designed to recognise and honour the very best individuals, businesses, partnerships and events in the tourism industry for their innovation, excellence and success. This year, there has been a particular focus on organisations that take responsibility for low carbon economy, inclusivity, thriving communities, and Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage. The awards realise that there are places and people who have worked tirelessly in the face of the pandemic to create world class destinations and visitor experiences – and we’re delighted that Nevis Range Mountain Experience, Comrie Croft and Edinburgh International Conference Centre were all shortlisted in the Responsible Tourism Award category at the awards last night.
The Scottish Thistle Awards showcase the very best of Scotland’s tourism sector, helping to ensure that tourism, and the individuals who work in the industry, are recognised for the positive impact they bring to the country and our communities. Of course, here at Euan’s Guide we believe accessibility should be a major priority for all venues, and we’re glad that The Scottish Thistle Awards have also considered disabled access a priority as part of the inclusivity remit.
We were really pleased to see more of our venues were been listed in other categories, and we were excited to find out who the winners were on Twitter - well done to all of our amazing Euan's Guide venues, and huge congratulations to Comrie Croft who took home the award for Responsible Tourism.
