Euan’s Guide at The Big Event, Birmingham

We were delighted to exhibit at Motability Operation's The Big Event in Birmingham again this year. It was a pleasure to meet so many amazing people and hear their views and experiences of disabled access. 

The Friday saw Christina and Euan’s Guide Ambassador Tina at The Big Event, where lots of people were looking for new cars and new scooters, and as well as a busy day chatting about our small but mighty charity we had a few assistance dogs stopping by for a drink and wag of their tails. 

On Saturday, we had even more of the Euan’s Guide team on our stand. Tina was there for a second day and was joined by fellow Ambassadors Dennis and Veronica, while Julie helped with her first ever Big Event! 

Antonia, our CEO was in the Studio for an interview with Motability Operations and a chat about the results of the Euan’s Guide Access Survey Supported by Motability Operations. 

The survey is the largest of its kind in the UK, with over 6,000 participants, 98% of whom identified as a disabled person. The 2023 results are on our website [insert link] and you can expect to see the 2024 survey launch this autumn.

We hope everyone had a brilliant time at The Big Event, and we look forward to keeping in touch with new friends.
