There’s something eerie in the air, and with pumpkins gleaming in shop windows and black cats on the prowl - it can only mean one thing…it’s Halloween! Get into the spirit of things this All Hallows Eve and join in some of the spooktacular sessions going on up and down the UK…are you brave enough?

1. Halloween Fright Night!

Fuse Halloween with science at Glasgow Science Centre on Friday 30th October this year. With a 4 star access review, explore the science behind the zombie brain and brew something ghastly in potions class at this epic family Halloween extravaganza. Don’t forget to check out the hilarious Monster Science Show too!

2. Pumpkin Festival

It wouldn’t be Halloween without terrifying pumpkins! 4.5 star reviewed Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley is running a spooky autumn pumpkin festival from 24th-31st October this year. Go along, design a pumpkin face and watch as professional carvers create your masterpiece! ‘Lots of smells and sounds to experience and helpful, pleasant staff throughout’ – Euan’s Guide Reviewer.

3. Halloween Hell-raiser

Join in this fancy-dress fun day at Jo-Jo’s in Brinsworth on October 31st! With lots of winter warmers and apple bobbing, you won’t want to miss out on this light-hearted Halloween bash. Jo-Jo’s has a 4.5 star review on Euan’s Guide with our reviewer saying, ‘I called in this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see how they cater for a wheelchair user. Very easy to get in from the car park and once inside they have an accessible toilet’.

4. Haunted House

A night of thrills and chills at Craft Burger on October 31st where the hauntingly good music will be supplied by live band ‘Porkies Hot Rocking’ and you can dig into a treacherously free buffet! Don’t forget your fancy dress…Craft Burger has a 4.5 star review on Euan’s Guide for ‘friendly staff and excellent access’.

5. Family-friendly Halloween

For fangtastic Halloween fun with the little ones, head to 5 star rated Fairytale Farm in Chipping Norton where there will be face painting, bat-biscuit decorating and illuminations this half-term! Our reviewer told us that there is ‘disabled parking right next to the entrance’ and that the staff ‘couldn’t be more friendly, helpful and accommodating’.
