Captioning Awareness Week
A picture might paint a thousand words, but every single word counts in a captioned performance. This week marks the 15th anniversary of Stagetext, and to celebrate they are holding the first ever Captioning Awareness Week from the 9th-15th November 2015. With 1 in 6 people in the UK being hearing impaired or hard of hearing, this awareness campaign aims to spread the word about the service and show how many people could benefit from it. If you want to give a captioned performance a go, why not get yourself tickets to one of these accessible events?
See Lewis Carroll’s iconic story in a different light in this new musical at National Theatre London. This brand new musical is Alice in Wonderland for the online generation as it explores the blurred lines between our lives online and offline.
