A golf championship for a good cause

We are incredibly honoured and proud to have been selected as one of three charities who will receive funds raised from The World Short Hole Golf Pairs Championship at the end of the summer.  

The event will take place on Friday 9 September, from 12 noon until 5pm and, actually, it sounds like a bit of a party to end the summer! The entry fee / ticket cost allows for the game of golf on the famous Bruntsfield Links Par 3 course, and includes bacon rolls to start, access to the gin bar and craft beers, and finishes with a hog roast.  

Founded in 1761, the Bruntsfield Links Golfing Society is the fourth oldest in the world and one of Scotland’s most prestigious clubs located just three miles from Edinburgh city centre. The course re-opened in 2019 after a two-year development by world renowned course architect Tom Mackenzie – it included six new holes, eight new greens and all new bunkering which now presents a consistent and fair but challenging course for golfers of all abilities. Whether you’re a beginner or playing off scratch, it’s bound to be a great day out. Plus, 100% of the funds raised from the event will go directly to charity – we’re honoured ot have been selected along with two other fantastic Scottish charities, Alzheimer Scotland and St Catharine’s Convent Homeless Project.  

If you or someone you know want to take part all you need is a golfing partner, three clubs, and a golf ball or two. Spectacular golf wear is encouraged! Make sure you tag us in your pictures on social media @euansguide.  

Teams of two can enter the golf and enjoy the party for £210 (per pair) – remember, it’s for charity!

The World Short Hole Golf Pairs Championship (established in 2011) is a non-profit organisation that arranges a fun short hole golf event at Edinburgh’s The Bruntsfield Links.
